Bookish News (week of October 21) complete online archive of Emily Dickinson's writing (in high-res) was launched on Wednesday (you can find it here). And Harvard and Amherst are still at each other's throats over whose collection of Dickinson's papers is more "legitimate." Sigh.

In a New York Times interview, J. J. Abrams said that his favorite writers include Twain, Graham Greene, Salinger, and H. G. Wells. Can't argue with that list.

And because it's cool, here's a "Brief History of Publishing."
